Gardening Australia visit

There was much excitement on Monday & Tuesday this week as Costa and the team from Gardening Australia paid us a visit! The Secret Garden will be featured as part of their Disability Week program which will go to air on the 4th of December. Make sure you mark the date in your diary!

Travis was the star of the show on Monday as he showed Costa around the garden, shared his amazing knowledge about salvias and spoke about his personal experiences being involved with our garden. On Tuesday Kellie did an amazing job demonstrating how we do things in the potting shed and the boys in the Mate’s Shed were filmed making one of their wonderful bee hotels.

Everyone really enjoyed being part of the show and many laughs were shared. Costa even left with a box full of our beautiful plants and many positive things to say about our garden. Thanks to everyone involved… we can’t wait to watch the story in December!
