Two successful Autumn events

The Secret Garden team have been very busy the last few weeks, with two of our major fundraising events taking place over Autumn.

The weekend of April 10th & 11th saw us gathering together all our best plants from the nursery and heading to Collectors Plant Fair at Clarendon Race Course. A massive crowd of plant lovers attended the event, making up for the Fair being cancelled in 2020 due to Covid-19. Our stall once again proved very popular with a lot of our stock selling on the Saturday morning, especially all our beautiful salvias, which disappeared very quickly!

We held our annual Secret Garden Autumn Fair on May 1st and this event was also very well supported. Gorgeous sunshine brought lots of visitors who enjoyed grabbing a bargain plant or two, sampling our yummy scones, taking the kids on a train ride and wandering around more than 30 market stalls on our village green.

Thanks for everyone who came along and supported these two fundraising events, your contribution is greatly appreciated in keeping our nursery and programs for people with disabilities going. And a huge thankyou to all our wonderful volunteers – as always, we couldn’t do it without you!
